In this clip Pandit Sandipan Samajpati unveils the rain soaked melody of Raga Miyan ki Malhar through his magical voice and deep emotion. Pandit ji sings a traditional bandish, "Kareem naam tero" in Vilambit Ektaal. His distinctive approach towards the development of each of the notes brings out a unique blend of temperament & pensive sentiment within the raga and fabricates a felicitous ambience of the monsoon which is rarely heard.
He is accompanied by two brilliant musicians: Sri Amit Chatterjee on Tabla & Sri Hiranmoy Mitra on Harmonium.
