"The Day" is the opening theme of the Anime series “Boku no Hero Academia”.

“The Day” was recorded by Japanese rock band Porno Graffitti (ポルノグラフィティ) and was released as a single in May 2016.
Before that, it had already been used as the opening theme for the Anime series “Boku no Hero Academia” (僕のヒーローアカデミア, the English version is titled "My Hero Academia"), which started airing in April 2016.

In the Anime series, Izuku Midoriya, a regular middle school student, lives in a world where many people have superpowers known as "Quirks”. Izuku dreams of being a hero himself, and after he saves his childhood bully from a villain, he receives superpowers himself!
