Battle Monsters - SEGA Saturn - Intro & Playthrough as Fangore [4k60]

Описание к видео Battle Monsters - SEGA Saturn - Intro & Playthrough as Fangore [4k60]

Full gameplay longplay, playthrough, walkthrough, guide & trueplay of the SEGA Saturn title Battle Monsters on real hardware as Fangore. Having done a playthrough as Shion in our live stream it's only fair we showcase another character in this video. Fangore is certainly one of the better characters with his huge range of fireball attacks and spin attack you can corner opponents with.

Battle Monsters is one of those games that clearly based itself on the Mortal Kombat mold with digitised actors and actresses, mixed in with stop motion characters. Battle Monsters has a reputation among some gamers as being one of the worst fighters on the system. However, to be honest it's quite a lot of fun in a drunken house party sort of way. While the game isn't perfect, it does play perfectly well and is just very run of the mill. There are much better fighters on the Saturn and much worse ones to, Rise of the Robots 2 anyone?

The arcade mode is a bit too long, hence why we set it to one round in this video. The cast of characters is a truly crazy bunch, with a palette swap boss at the end who has to be battled over four rounds. Fun in short bursts, but hard to recommend over so many of the other great verse fighting game on the system and certainly not a good or great game just very average. The HUD used in game is pretty terrible and in the wrong place on screen. Some how it managed to sell well enough to get a sequel on the PlayStation 1 which was released as Killing Zone.
