You can use this 26+2 Fast Castle build order in Age of Empires 2 with any civ. This build order does not rely on any civ bonus although Byzantines get 33% cheaper Imperial Age. Let me know in the comments if you would also like a higher quality edited and pedagogic tutorial for this AoE2 build order in the future. Due to not getting deer (or hares) and going up later (than e.g. Hera's 24+2 pop fast castle), this can be considered a beginner friendly build order.

Dark Age
00:45 6 on sheep
01:44 4 on wood
02:44 1 (builds house and) lures boar
03:00 3 on berries
03:48 1 (builds house and) lures boar
04:15 Rest on food under TC until 20 pop
05:15 3 on berries
05:44 1 on wood
05:54 2 on gold
06:15 Feudal Age (26 pop)

Dark Age to Feudal Age transition
TC vils:
6 to farms
Rest to wood once meat is finished
TC rally point to wood

Feudal Age
07:30 Build Market and Blacksmith
08:00 Castle Age (28 pop)


NB: if you want to get Loom in Dark Age, just do a 27+2 pop fast castle instead (3 on gold instead of 2)
