Strongroom Studios, based on Curtain Road, in Shoreditch, first opened its doors to the music community in 1984 and quickly grew into a thriving community of artists, a creative hub in amongst... not much else - Shoreditch was pretty barren in those days.

Strongroom recognised the need for a social element to the complex, and as a result, we (the bar) opened our doors in 1997.

20 years later, the Strongroom complex is still one of the most vibrant, creative, different & inviting places in the area, home to a multitude of record labels, producers, and music businesses, as well as the studios and bar.

We celebrated these past 20 years with one hell of a party, on 14th September 2017. We invited some of our favourite bands & DJs who have recorded or played here over the years, and had a jolly good time. Thanks to everyone involved.
