NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft, the farthest human-made object in space at 15 billion miles from Earth, has finally re-established contact with Earth after days of silence. It used a radio transmitter that hadn’t been used since 1981 to contact the team on the ground. Although this connection is temporary, it allows the team to figure out what’s causing the problem.
