Hwang is founder and CEO of Right to Start, a national nonpartisan nonprofit seeking to expand entrepreneurial opportunity through grassroots organizing, policy, and storytelling. Victor was Vice President of Entrepreneurship at the Kauffman Foundation, the world’s leading philanthropy for entrepreneurs. His work has impacted the lives of millions through capital formation, economic development, policymaking, and breaking barriers for underserved entrepreneurs. Victor has been a serial entrepreneur, venture investor, corporate lawyer, and economic growth advisor. His co-authored book, The Rainforest, was Book of the Year by ForeWord Reviews. Victor graduated from Harvard University and University of Chicago Law School. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
