Remembering John Sampson

My father, John Sampson, saw a lot of changes in his life, from 1922 to 2016.
He led an active life, mentally and physically, including helping to set up a union for professional engineers. On retirement, he took up ocean sailing which he continued till age 80.
At age 85, he was widowed.
In September 2011, Dad moved to be next-door to Chris and I until he passed away nearly five years later.
With help, Dad continued to be active until his last few months. And, though his memory was fading, he continued to take a great interest in life.
This video shares some of our memories of Dad, in pictures, particularly our time together over the last few years.
