UMTS Architecture. In this video we look at four main topic areas: CSFB Principles, Mobile Originated Call, Mobile Terminated Call and Sending an SMS.

This video has been taken from our LTE System Engineering course, which takes a “day in the life” approach to the LTE handset, detailing all the typical activity an LTE handset undertakes as it interacts with the network. Procedures such as Initial Attach, Bearer Establishment, Mobility and Interworking are all considered. In conclusion, this course focuses on voice services, with emphasis on both CSFB and VoLTE.
