Honda X ADV 750 sits in its class of one. Based on Honda Integra with combined tech from Honda NC series and bigger brother Africa Twin. Call it a maxi scooter or an off-road motorcycle, it’s a unique bike that looks and delivers a Go Anywhere Do Anything experience. I owned many big and small motorcycles, city commuter scooters and touring bikes and X ADV750 gives it all in a practical and fun package. It is reliable, economic,high quality and joyful bike to ride every day be it a daily commute, weekend escape or those wonderful touring trips we all crave from time to time. In addition, for those who commute in/around London its LEZ ULEZ C Charge exempt so no hidden costs.
This one is an upgraded version with torque and traction control, gravel mode and 900 rpm boost compared with an early X ADV models. Honda’s DCT (dual clutch transmission in auto or manual mode) works effortlessly with the engine and so much fun to ride. Honda’s keyless HLSS safety system ,ABS, all LED lights, center stand, adjustable screen and handguards comes as standard too.
Be warned: this bike will draw lots of attention and compliments form other fellow riders and alike:) as it is a very unique and new proposition in the market.
My top take from a short time I had with this bike is X ADVs ability to deliver a modern looks and performance in a high quality package that works well as an all round bike. It looks like an urban monster with a contemporary design and has top tech some higher end motorcycles would envy. Fuel economy , power delivery and touring/off-road capabilities are brilliant depending on your riding skills. It really doesn’t take long to get used to riding the bike either in auto or manual modes. Practical enough for every day use with a well balanced suspension ,brakes and great ground clearance and definitely not boring in any means. It even has a hand brake, what more can we want.
Not sure if it should be compared to closest rivals too much (Yamaha T MAX Smax Suzuki Burgman or even BMW F850GS ) as it outperforms them in many areas or offer something special that no others can.
All together Honda X ADV750 is an amazing adventure machine that you just cant wait to enjoy every day.
