Drumfuckery no.123 - Bonham Triplets Part 2, 3/8/2022

This is just a diary of my learning process - a record of the first time I tried this stuff.

This is my attempt at the triplets around the toms - the 2nd part of Brian Tichy's 'Bonham Triplets' short tutorial on Drumeo.
As per Drumfuckery, the 26" marching bass drum is positioned in front of the 20" of my 1968 '54' Premier kit.
I found this hard to play for several reasons; it's a left-hand lead, the hi-hat is pedalled on the 1st beat of the triplet and the bass drum on the 3rd, and there's a hand-crossover. These are things I don't normally do.
I did a few more takes after this and got the pattern faster and a little smoother, but I like this take because it was the first time it kinda fell into place, hence my reaction at the end. Obviously room to improve, more practice required, but I was delighted to get this far in a fairly short time.
