A major tributary of Brahmaputra is the mighty Siang River that originates near Mount Kailash in the Himalayan region

By the banks of this river lives the indigenous Adi tribe, previously known as Abor, that fought a major war with the Britishers from 1858 to 1912, known as the Anglo - Abor War, whose story will fascinate you!

I went around its major war sites like Kebang, Komsing, Pangi and many more, that hold its glorious past and war heroes like Matmur Jamoh and Lumrung Tamuk whose stories are known and told in every corner of the Abor Hills

But today it's villages like Pangin have become a tourist attraction not just for it's history, but for amazing adventurous caves, fishing and angling, trekking, rafting, clean model villages and much more!
