This video was produced for internal use only because it has to do with our retail display unit, but we thought it might interest our customers, too. It shows just how easy it is to install our Soft Stop accessories. Please Note:

1- The redesigned Fall 2023 Soft Stop models are installed differently than shown in this video because the mounting plate has two round holes instead of two inverted slots. One of the two lag bolts should be completely removed, temporarily. The lag bolt should be reinserted to pass through the corresponding hole in the Soft Stop mounting plate between the back of the track and the first spacer. Tighten that lag bolt just enough to hold everything in place. Next, repeat the process for the second lag bolt, swinging the Soft Stop bracket into position between the track and spacer. Finally, tighten both lag bolts. See the installation guide that comes with your Soft Stop hardware to ensure you follow the correct instructions for your product.

2- You won't need a second wrench to install a Soft Stop device on a real doorway.

3- Our Soft Stop accessories are installed in pairs, so that you get smooth stopping when both opening and closing the door.

4- You will probably need a step ladder to install Soft Stop on a real doorway. Be sure to follow all proper safety procedures.

5- Our Soft Stop accessories are custom-designed to fit only Goldberg Brothers barn door hardware.
