Planting eight Antennae Plants beside the hatch of your base provides easy access to their eight Antennae Fruit, a full source of lasting Bioreactor fuel. Cultivate Creepy Vines (at least two plants) and at least four Ribbon Plants. You will need both for Lubricant (vehicles, Moon Pools, Bioreactors) and Batteries & Power Cells. The Spiral Plant clippings are critical at certain points, but in the whole game I think I only used eight of them. Ditto the Young Cotton Anemones. Bulls Eye Shrooms are useful in the early game, but mid-game and later I didn't need them anymore.
