Many people know and love the droning sounds of Sunn O))), achieved with lots of Sunn Amps and Proco Rats. A while back they got a signature pedal tailored to exactly that sound - but Ben from Ground FX had something different in mind and tried to improve the idea of the Life Pedal. Changing the analog octave up to a polyphonic suboctave and adding an active cleanblend you get everything you need for endless drone sounds and massive distortion.
