Bikepacking the Pieterpad day 1: Pieterburen to Sleen

Hi and welcome to WannaGoBiking. My name is Arjan and it is time for a new cycling adventure!
Close to home this time, as I'll be trying to follow our most popular long distance hike on my bike:
The Pieterpad
This first day didn't quite go as planned though...

The Pieterpad was designed by two friends who lived in Tilburg and Groningen respectively. Later, they expanded the route to Pieterburen in the north and the Saint Pietersberg in the south,
