Bloodborne - Vicar Amelia Location and Boss Fight (Vicar Amelia Trophy Guide)

Vicar Amelia is the boss inside the Grand Cathedral. There are two ways you can get to Vicar Amelia, but both start at the lamp in the Cathedral Ward. The first and more obvious way is to purchase the Hunter Chief Emblem from the messenger in the Hunter's Dream to open the gate near the Cathedral Ward. This is the most direct route to Vicar Amelia, but also the most expensive.

The second way to reach the Grand Cathedral is to first kill the Blood-starved Beast and then load into the Cathedral Ward lamp. Enter the door that opens on the right after the Blood-starved Beast is slain. Instead of following the tower in the Healing Church Workshop up, you're going to drop down the broken floor on the first level of this tower and navigate the scaffolding to the bottom. Once you're at the bottom, you can navigate this area to end up behind the Cathedral gates where you can open them for free yourself.

Once you're past the gate, you just enter the Grand Cathedral to begin the boss fight. Vicar Amelia hits hard for one of the game's initial bosses, but most of her attacks are directed in front of her. Her sweet spot to hit will be her back right leg. Be careful because Vicar Amelia is very quick and begins combo attacks soon after moving. Also, at 30% health Vicar Amelia will stop moving and begin rapidly regenerating health. You must attack her or use Numbing Mist to stop her regeneration or she will continue until she gets full health. After Vicar Amelia is slain, the trophy will unlock.
