For many years Bell Shakespeare has run an annual series of workshops at Juvenile Justice Centres in NSW, aimed at helping young people build self-confidence and find their voice. Over the past five years more than 300 young men and women aged 13–21 have seen an Actors At Work production, and more than 70 have completed the workshop program. This year we will launch our most ambitious undertaking to date; rehearsing and staging Shakespeare's Macbeth, completely performed by the young men of at the Frank Baxter Juvenile Justice Centre.

Grumpy Sailor Creative will capture the journey in a 55 minute documentary, following the 12 week rehearsal program, tracking the boys progress throughout, interwoven with their personal stories both in and out of the workshops.
