Stanton could be one of the prettiest and most idyllic villages in the Cotswolds, England. Little changed in 300 years, it nestles beneath the slopes of Shenbarrow Hill. Situated on the Cotswold Way near Broadway, it is a great place to start a walk in the Cotswolds.

Stanton takes its name from 'stan' (stone) from which it is built - similarly the neighbouring village of Stanway.
