2021 Sydney 4K Virtual Walking Tour: George St, World Square, Westfield, Martin Place, Angel Place

Today let me take you on a virtual walking tour of the Sydney Central Business District (CBD), walking essentially up north from around Central Station, towards Wynyard Station, making a few stops along the way.

The precise stop we start from is Paddy's Market, a popular spot to grab souvenirs and is located next to the Sydney Chinatown.

We then go into the World Square shopping centre.

We walk inside Town Hall station to get the vibe and listen to the train guard annoucement.

Town Hall Station is connected to the Myer department store and the Westfield shopping centre via an underground passageway, which is filled with shops and eye candies.

After walking around inside Westfield, we go back out to get some fresh air and check out the Mid City shopping centre across the road. The new KitKat Chocolatory is located inside Mid City, and they have a bunch of uniquely-flavoured Japanese KitKat chocolates, as well as a sushi bar where they serve chocolates instead of sushis.

Almost there...

We go back to George St which is the main street in Sydney CBD. It used to be filled with cars but now they have a tram (light rail) that goes back and forth along it. You need to pay for the light rail and it's expensive and slow, you might as well walk haha...

We walk past the Sydney Apple Store, then go inside the Fullerton Hotel on No.1 Martin Place (used to be the Westin Hotel), then walk along Martin Place, go back to George St, then check out the overhead bird cages along Angel Place.

We end up on Pitt St, walk along Hunter St, then arrive back at George St and Wynyard Station.

Get your snacks and favourite drink ready as this tour is around 45 minutes long!
