Hundreds of thousands joined a mass demonstration in London on Saturday, demanding the UK government to end its support for Israel’s assault on Gaza. Protesters called for an end to arms sales and trade agreements, citing Israel’s ongoing blockade, famine-inducing siege, and plans to forcibly contain Palestinians in Rafah. Over 80 Parliamentarians had urged sanctions on Israel, echoing the ICJ’s 2024 ruling.
Organised by PSC with coalition partners, the march began at Embankment at 12:30 PM and was followed by a rally at Whitehall at 2:30 PM.
