Witness appeal after driver, 22, dies in Wolverhampton wall crash

Police have issued a witness appeal after a 22-year-old died in a crash in Wolverhampton. The man's car hit a wall at the junction of Ettinghshall Road and Bilston Road in the early hours.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 1.30am on Tuesday, January 7, and found the driver trapped in the vehicle in a critical condition. Firefighters helped to free the man, but despite the best efforts of medics, he was declared dead at the scene.
