Frutti Di Mare translates to “fruit of the sea” in Italian. It is a popular Italian pasta dish made with spaghetti or linguine and a variety of seafood such as including mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops, squid, and/or octopus. Feel free to experiment with this recipe and add or subtract your favorite fish.

Recipe:

¼ cup olive oil
6 cloves of garlic
4 calamari, cleaned and cut into pieces
6 little neck clams
9 mussels
2 jumbo shrimp
½ cup pino grigio wine
8 oz crushed san Marzano tomatoes
Salt & pepper to taste
Pinch of oregano
2 leaves of fresh basil, torn

Serves 2 as entrée or 5-6 as side dish
