DIY Tribal and Gradient Flower Pots, Yogurt Bucket Recycling Craft. How to make cute flower pots with geometric shapes, tribal patterns and gradients for free by using old yogurt containers and acrylic paint. An eco-friendly craft using repurposed materials.

MATERIALS

1l yogurt buckets
gesso (Liquitex Basics Acrylic Gesso): http://amzn.to/2lyih7G (affiliate)
acrylic paints (Crelando, Lidl)
painter's tape

INSTRUCTIONS

Prime the yogurt buckets with gesso. It will prevent the acrylic paint from soaking into the surface. That way you won't need several layers of acrylic paint (or spray paint) to cover up the pattern and text on the container. Apply 1-2 coats of white acrylic paint and then decorate with a gradient, stripes, triangles or tribal patterns.
