This is precisely what Galtar and the Golden Lance is about. While the setting of the show is somewhat quirky, this is a forgotten but priceless sword-and-sorcery animated classic from the 80s that makes for a very entertaining watch. Released by Syndicated and produced by Hanna Barbera productions, this show ran from 1985 to 1986 as a part of ‘The Futuristic World of Hanna Barbera’ for a total length of twenty-one episodes. The show follows the three main characters’ quest to defeat Tormack, a tyrannical villain who is attempting to take over the world.
