Hi everyone, welcome to this video. As I promised, this amazing project is here and you are watching the most detailed ASUS Gaming laptop restoration which can't find anywhere!
I was very upset by the words and pains of this laptop and I tried my best to help him and do something to make it look like BRAND NEW again.
In this video, I restored a Broken & Almost dead ASUS gaming laptop suffering overheating which makes the laptop shut down after a short period! Also, the cooling fan makes a huge annoying noise and no one can handle it!
When I tested the laptop, I saw the screen blinking and this usually happens due to a broken screen flex cable. But when I tried to open the screen, I saw something strange! The screen adhesion was melted into the screen bezel because of the overheating and I replaced the 4k screen of this laptop. In addition to the old and useless thermal paste and thermal pads, all vents of this machine were clogged and even a single molecule of oxygen couldn't enter the laptop! I carefully disassembled the laptop and Restored every single component and every single spot of this machine. About cleaning the motherboard, I used 96% Isopropyl Alcohol and Mr. Contact Cleaner!

To clean the cooling fan, I Opened the frame of the cooling fan to have better access and washed it with Mr. Contact Cleaner and this job, solved the noisy fan problem! For more information about this process, you can watch this video. The most time-consuming part of this project was restoring the palm rest and the keyboard. Since the keyboard is plastic welded to the palm rest, It is not possible to remove the keyboard for an easier job. But in the end, the keyboard and the palm rest are shiny and brand new again.
I used a soft polish compound with an even and soft pressure to remove the scratches and bring back the shine to this machine.
