What is CCE?

CCE stands for Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation. It is an educational assessment system that was introduced in India as a reform measure in the field of education. CCE was implemented by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in schools affiliated with it.

The main objective of CCE is to assess a student's progress and learning throughout the academic year, rather than relying solely on one final examination at the end of the year. It aims to provide a holistic evaluation of a student's abilities, including their academic performance, co-curricular activities, life skills, and values.

Under the CCE system, students are assessed using both formative and summative assessments. Formative assessments are conducted during the learning process and include quizzes, projects, class discussions, and other activities to gauge the student's understanding and progress. Summative assessments are conducted at the end of each term or academic year and include written examinations
