DAYS GONE - How to Return to Lost Lake Region When You Are Locked in the Southern Region!

Late in the game, there is a point where you will be locked out from returning north to the Lost Lake region. Using this secret passage, you can get around this limitation.

NOTE: This video is a general guideline. You will not have to travel this exact path to reach the Lost Lake Region. The only critical point is at 0:20 where you first enter the "out of bounds" region. To enter this region, you have to squeeze through just right, close by to the rock on the left. Walking the bike instead of using the throttle may help. Don't feel bad about flipping over many times before you succeed. I've entered this way dozens of times and I still usually flip the bike a few times before getting in. Saving right before you start will make the process easier.

Once you move past that point, just head in the general direction shown in the video. Invisible walls will block you if you stray too far in any given direction. There is a seam in the map about halfway through the journey, and you may "fall through the world" at this point. Saving often will reduce the amount of work you have to redo.

There are many paths to get off the mountain itself and down into Lost Lake, but you may have to hunt around a bit to get around the numerous invisible walls.
