**This goes between Hall 1 and Hall 3 (separate ticket halls for different sets of platforms). Hall 1 is the main area, and as you can see there are many tracks across. Hall 3 is not used a lot.

First we ride a Schindler escalator (0:10)
Then a really long Schindler travelator (1:21)
Then an older 1990s Thyssen travelator (4:32)
And finally 2x 2003 RTV-HD-99G Kone escalators in hall 3. (7:32)

There is a broken 2002 CNIM travelator (6:11) - complete with a Dunlop rubber belt (I used to love these when I was a child, you could bounce on them)! I remember the ones at Gatwick’s South terminal fondly before Kone replaced the last few in 2005-7 but I believe they were made by Westmont. I am surprised they were still using rubber belts in 2002 - the ones at most airports and stations were from the 70s and 80s!
