Bretagne is a peninsula, historical country and cultural area in the north-west of modern France, covering the western part of what was known as Armorica during the period of Roman occupation.

It's also famous for its megalithic monuments and mysterious art vestiges, especially those in Carnac. Bretagne is the major site for megaliths in Europe and possibly the world, with about 3,000 standing stones through several sites.
