I conceived this at the wee hours and also ‪@barbedrotten‬ held my black ass at brain point and demanded I edit this song with my interpretation of cthulhu, he's my oc now.

story time: caeden dahlstrom comes from a military family, after his two tours, he settles as a security for the Neptune corporation which is a pretty tightly knit group studying marine biology and wildlife. one of their big projects is set deep within the trenches where he sleeps, cthulhu. building their base around the entity, they study him unaware that his presence instills madness, he lies, he sleeps, he dreams and he waits. something goes array and cthulhu chooses caeden as his vessel, his host. gazing into the beasts eyes and caeden is driven into madness, becoming cthulhu, the great dreamer. cthulhu's presence was awaken briefly by the call of a human, her name is Unity Viotto, daughter of the man who hired Caed for his services and she is all that caeden cares for and cthulhu has a deep fascination for her as well; only thing they have in common. after the events in the base, it changed them both.
