One of the most infamous stories surrounding him is that he was poisoned, shot multiple times, and even drowned in an attempt to kill him - yet somehow managed to survive each time. Now, I'm not saying I believe everything I hear about Rasputin - the guy practically had a cult following and who knows what kind of myths they spread about him - but the fact remains that there are historical accounts corroborating these assassination attempts. Whether it was due to his supposed healing powers or just sheer luck, it's hard not to be amazed by Rasputin's ability to cheat death time and time again.
