Once, humans fell into arrogance and sin.
They forgot dharma, devotion, love — and chased after money, fame, and selfish desires.
Rain stopped. Earth cracked. Trees wilted.
Even humans turned cruel to each other.
Mother Earth could not bear it anymore.
She cried out, “O Lord Shiva, please have mercy!”


All the gods went to Mount Kailash.
With garlands, lamps, and folded hands, they prayed:
“Lord, the world is falling apart. Only your grace can save it.”
Shiva did not open his eyes. But a single tear fell from them.


Shiva slowly stood up.
His face was calm, yet a burning fire was within.
Mount Kailash trembled.
He opened his third eye.
In those few seconds – oceans surged, rivers dried, flaming meteors rained from the skies.
The sun scorched the land. People screamed.
From that anger, 11 Rudras were born — each ready to destroy evil.


Cities turned to ashes. Palaces crumbled.
People ran in fear. But some began to pray again.
In the rain, soaked in tears, they chanted:
“Om Namah Shivaya… Namah Shivaya…”
Their voices, filled with love and devotion, reached Shiva.


Goddess Parvati, filled with sorrow, approached Shiva.
She said: “Look at them, my Lord. I hear their last cries in the wind. Your anger is flooding the world.”
Shiva remained silent… then slowly closed his third eye.
In that moment, the chaos ended.
Raindrops fell from the sky.
The Earth wept — but this time, in gratitude.


This story teaches us a powerful truth.
When Shiva gets angry, the whole world trembles.
But even a whisper of true devotion can melt his heart.
