Vostok-Europe Oppenheimer Atomic Age Watch Overview with Seiko movement

Craig Hester here with R2Awatches.com. Today we are talking about the three versions of the Oppenheimer watch from Vostok Europe's Atomic Age collection. These watches are an homage to Robert Oppenheimer, one of the greatest scientists of the 20th century.

These watches measure in at 48 mm and come in several different color options- beige with seafoam green, deep charcoal gray with seafoam green, and red with blue. All come with an extra silicon strap and have 20 ATM water resistance. They utilize the K1 mineral system, so each crystal has nearly the scratch resistance of sapphire, along with nearly the shatter resistance of mineral. So you basically get the best of both worlds.

It's important to note that all Oppenheimers have stand-up tritium tubes, which really contribute to brightness and vitality. All three versions have the YM 86 movement from Seiko Epson. This means, among other things, a chronograph function and a sweep second hand.
