Скачать или смотреть US Iran tensions escalate with White House on high alert after Iranian attacks

A U.S. Navy fighter jet shot down an Iranian drone that was approaching the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea, according to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News the drone, which was unmanned, was "acting aggressively" toward the aircraft carrier.

Leavitt said she spoke to the Pentagon, adding that officials confirmed CENTCOM "acted appropriately and necessarily" to protect U.S. personnel and equipment in the region.
