Halloween Porch: decorate & cook with me!

Let’s decorate my front porch for Halloween! And, we’re cooking the perfect fall meal. It’s a one pan meal that is sure to be a family favorite.

I love decorating my front porch for any holiday! I was doing for a spooky but cute Halloween front porch this year. It took about two days to put it together - and I am so happy with how my Halloween porch turned out. I linked as much as I could down below! 🎃

On the last day, we had a cozy rain storm hit us - so it was time to make some risotto and get cozy. Full recipe below!

Risotto recipe: This only takes about 20 minutes to make 🙌🏻

Ingredients:
Chicken sausage (I used organic chicken apple sausage)
2 cups Arborio rice (the kind you use for risotto!)
Drizzle of olive oil or avocado oil
4 cups chicken broth
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup canned full fat coconut milk
1 cup grated Parmesan
1 bag spinach
Seasonings: chili flakes, salt, pepper, dried herbs
Fresh basil for serving

1. Cook chicken sausage in pan with oil for 8 minutes
2. Add Arborio rice and garlic to the pan. Add a little more olive oil and toast the rice for 1 minute.
Add the chicken broth, coconut milk, and seasonings. Bring the rice to a boil and then cover and reduce to a simmer. Cook for about 10 minutes.
3. Add spinach and parm. Mix well and serve!!
