Please read this box before watching the video.
For getting the best results from this video, follow the given steps in sequence. Don't miss even a single step or break the sequence.
Step 1. Before watching my class, keep a notebook and pen handy to take down notes.
Step 2. Imagine you are taking an online class and not watching a YouTube video.
Step 3. Play the video at normal speed. DO NOT increase the playback speed. I intentionally speak slowly and with pauses as it is a power-packed class and you have to grasp the content/concept very precisely and clearly.
Step 4. Pause the video whenever you want to jot down something (important points/doubts/questions). As this is an actual class going on, don't just hear the video; understand it and digest it.
Step 5. Get your doubts/questions resolved by posting them in the comments sections of this video. I always address and clear all the doubts/questions sent to me.
Step 6. The most important step: answer the Important Questions given below in this description box and get them evaluated by your teacher/tutor/anyone. In your examination, your answers will be evaluated for knowledge (content) and expression, and marks given accordingly. So, practise writing regularly.
Step 7. Revise the chapter by rewatching the video time to time. Now you may increase the playback speed of the video.
All my personal students follow this and are toppers in their schools today.
They can. You can. All can.

This class teaches you the following:
A. In-depth, line by line explanation of the chapter, The Letter (Class X, CBSE, English Communicative Literature Reader)
B. The poetic devices used in the chapter.
C. Important questions based on the chapter.

1. Why might the author have chosen to depict the early dawn as “grey” rather than a more vibrant or colorful time of day?
2. What can be inferred about the relationship between the old man and the town from the description of his surroundings?
3. How does the passage use the metaphor of cold to convey deeper themes beyond physical discomfort?
4. Why might the author describe the sleep of the town’s inhabitants as growing “more and more profound” due to the cold? What does this reveal about the setting?
5. What can be inferred about the old man’s mental state and inner resolve based on his actions and the passage’s descriptions?
6. How does the passage contrast the old man’s journey with the town’s atmosphere, and what does this contrast reveal about his character?
7. What does the passage suggest about the role of memory in the old man’s life, and how is this reflected in the imagery used?

If you have any questions/doubts/suggestions/feedback/request, you may either post them in the comments or mail them to me at [email protected]. Reply is assured.
