TGP Children, Teens, & YAs

The Gathering Place staff has a passion for supporting kids, teens and young adults impacted by cancer – whether their own diagnosis or of someone they love.

One of TGP Kids’ core programs is Animal Camp. This week-long camp, held 4 times over the summer, helps children create new friendships, build confidence, and learn how to process the variety of emotions and challenges they could be feeling.

The Gathering Place also knows how important it is to support Young Adults whose lives have been interrupted by cancer.

Through our programs, young adults gain the emotional support required to navigate education, sexuality, career planning, fertility and other cancer-related challenges.
