I know my opinion about this episode may be unpopular, but I think I have too critical a writer's brain to fully enjoy that final scene with Villanelle and Eve. Don't get me wrong, it was absolutely beautiful and momentous in every way. But looking at the entire season I felt the writing lacking in a balance of both character development and plot development. There was a lot of great character development of Villanelle, Carolyn, Eve and Konstantin, but barely any overall plot development. I find that this causes a season to be slightly slow, and more of a build-up for the next season that we have to wait ANOTHER year for! Balance with plot development is key, and I found the focus of the season unclear. Also, a lot of new characters were underdeveloped or used only to develop the main characters, which I'm not a fan of because this creates flat characters.
