A professionally built sock puppet and I take a look at the Hairball Audio FET/RACK Revision A. The FET/RACK is a beautiful looking and delightful sounding DIY version of the famous UREI 1176 Rev A compressor. This comp is fast as hell, sounds great on a wide variety of sources and adds some really fun grit.

We're doing it all in this video. We cover the different 1176 revisions, learn how to use the controls and listen to sound samples. At the end we cover build notes and I give my thoughts on the Rev A.
