1. Locate the Button: Find the button near the edge on the side or back of the key fob. Press it and pull out the key.
2. Separate the Key Fob: Position the key in the key fob and turn it slightly to separate the top from the bottom. Pull the key fob apart.
3. Remove the Battery Casing: Take out the plastic casing that holds the battery.
4. Replace the Battery: Carefully press up on the old battery to remove it. Replace it with a new Panasonic CR2032 industrial 3-volt battery. (Link at the top for the battery.)
5. Reassemble the Key Fob: Align the three holes with the three dots in the key fob and press it in carefully on the sides. Push the case back together.
6. Insert the Key: Finally, insert the key back into the key fob.
