Tonight we hit the Puerto del Carmen strip in Lanzarote for a proper night out 🍻

We start off visiting some of the most popular spots, including Temple Bar, O'Briens and the always lively Ruta 66. Expect good atmospheres, plenty of laughs, and a look at what the nightlife here is really like after dark.

However, the evening takes a shocking turn.

While filming on the strip, a worker from a nearby kebab shop confronted me. Things escalated quickly – he grabbed hold of me and my camera, pulled my microphone off, and demanded that I delete footage, even though I hadn’t filmed him.

It was a frightening and upsetting situation, and not something anyone expects to deal with on holiday. I’m sharing exactly what happened so you can see the reality of filming in busy nightlife areas.

Travel isn’t always sunshine and sangria – sometimes nights out can change in an instant.
