Over a year ago, I had the rare pleasure of performing alongside the world-renowned tenor Lawrence Brownlee at Carnegie Hall for the event titled "A Night of Inspiration". It was such a humbling experience to bring our own congregational music to this secular space, especially under the guidance of music director and composer Ray Chew.
