HOW to CROCHET an EASY WINTER HAT - Simple Textured Beanie by Naztazia

You can learn how to Crochet an Easy Winter Hat in this DIY tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. This is a nice simple textured hat that works great for beginners. The crunch stitch, which is easy to crochet, adds a nice texture to the top part of this beanie hat. And the single crochet ribbing adds a good amount of stretch to the hat.

This video shows a woman's size hat, but my written pattern shows child, teen, women, and men sizes as well. To make this hat, you will need to know how to make a chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and half double crochet. I'm using Red Heart Heat Wave yarn, which is a lovely acrylic worsted weight yarn with heat generating properties. And I'm using a size H 5 mm hook. I'm also using an optional pompom for the top of the hat.
