Aba County, belonging to Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, is located in the southeast edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, at the intersection of Sichuan, Gansu and Qinghai provinces, and borders seven counties in the prefecture, including Ruoergai County, Hongyuan County, Malkang City, Langtang County, Maqu County in Gansu Province, Jiuzhi County and Banma County in Qinghai Province.
