A Kontax Rhombic Drive Stirling engine filmed close-up and in 180 fps slow motion, allowing you to appreciate the engine's details while listening to relaxing music.

The engine is made by Kontax in the U.K and is a fine running little Stirling engine which beautifully illustrates the rhombic drive concept for Stirling engines.

The clip is filmed using a 1990s Canon EF 100 mm f/2.8 macro lens and a Canon R6 Mark II mirrorless full-frame camera. This clip also illustrates the remarkable video quality that this camera is capable of in 6x slow motion but also showcases the capabilities of vintage high-end camera optics.
