Bournemouth Christmas Trail | Christmas Market

The popular Christmas market was opened on The Square between Thursday, November 16 and runs through Monday, January 1, 2024. The market is open daily from 11am until late.

According to the website it looks like the Christmas market in Bournemouth Square will have over 40 stalls selling delicious food, drinks, unique gifts, and handmade items. It's exciting to see local traders like South Coast Makers market, The Yorkshire Pudding Wrap Co, Churros Kings, Lafi Crafts, and even hand-painted bauble gifts and personalized Christmas decorations. It's going to be a festive and fun experience! 😄🎄

The Christmas market in Bournemouth Square is so much fun! They have this awesome two-storey Alpine Lodge where you can get steins of cold beer, warm mulled wine, and cider. And if that's not enough, they also have a brand new Après Terrace on the front terrace of the Pavilion. The Après Terrace is gonna be packed with games, igloo domes, food trucks, and more!

The Alpine Lodge is open from 11am to 11pm, the food huts from 11am to 10pm, and the retail huts from 11am to 8pm (7pm on Sundays). Oh, and don't forget, the Skate Ice Rink has made a comeback in the Lower Gardens. It's a winter wonderland! ❄️⛸️

Visitors to the Lower Gardens will be greeted with a new 20-metre light tunnel that sets the tone for the updated illuminations. New additions include projections from lampposts around the gardens, a lantern archway, flashing light stems, and a new walk-through Christmas present.

This year the 60ft 3D walkthrough tree is dressed with decorations in the shape of Christmas trees. At night, visitors will be treated to laser lights shooting out the top amid the new white lights of the tree.
