I’m kicking things off by going through the classic book “The Royal Road to Card Magic” by Jean Hugard and Frederick Braué, which is the ideal place to start your card magic journey.

In this video we're looking at “A Poker Player`s Picnic” on page 16 in the book. It's an easy and self working trick which is ideal for beginners. But don´t be fooled because of how easy it is, the trick is made in the hands of the spectators, and tricks like these always get the strongest reactions. Enjoy!
