ADF | Tentara Nasional Indonesia trains in Far North Queensland

Описание к видео ADF | Tentara Nasional Indonesia trains in Far North Queensland

Specialist jungle warfare instructors from the Australia Army’s Combat Training Centre have been in Tully working closely with the Indonesian Army to conduct the Junior Officers Combat Instructor Training (JOCIT) course. JOCIT is an annual bilateral activity which involves individual training for junior officers within a collective environment, focusing on the development of skills to undertake and participate in operations in a jungle or urban environment.

JOCIT enhances interoperability between the ADF and the Indonesian Army and builds the capacity of Indonesian junior officers. The course supports our shared security interests, enhancing our people-to-people links that contribute to future opportunities for close cooperation between Australia and Indonesia.
