Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast: Hello April!

Rounds of rain and storms, and yes, snow showers to end the week. Sounds like April in NE Ohio alright.

Rain and storms return tonight.

It will be a soaker for your commute tomorrow morning, rumbles also possible. Plan on more drive time into work and school. Another round of rain and storms towards evening tomorrow could produce severe thunderstorms, especially for those of you South. Damaging winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes are possible.

Our rounds of rain will really add up with anywhere from 1-3 inches expected through early Wednesday... flooding is possible too. Stay tuned.

Then by the end of the week, this same system will be with us but we'll be on the colder side. Showers will continue to be around, but they'll likely mix with wet snow at times. Highs will be much cooler with 40sThursday and Friday. Eventually we'll get this system out of here for the weekend with brighter skies.

As we fast-forward to the eclipse on Monday (and home opener), we'll be watching a wave off the next system moving our way. The most likely scenario right now is that we see intervals of high clouds mixed with sunshine to start Monday with clouds on the increase -- so our chances for dry weather and some sunshine look decent. We'll continue to update you with the latest!
